Discover Viridi

Located at Gran Via de Carles III, 97 in the vibrant Les Corts neighborhood of Barcelona, Viridi stands out as a charming dining destination offering a fresh take on Mediterranean cuisine. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this cozy restaurant invites you to enjoy flavors that are both familiar and innovative, with a commitment to using the finest, locally sourced ingredients.

As you step into Viridi, the atmosphere immediately sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. The modern, yet warm decor creates a welcoming environment, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The space is both intimate and open, with ample natural light pouring in through the windows, which gives the space a relaxed, airy feel. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back and unwind while enjoying exceptional food.

The menu at Viridi is a celebration of Mediterranean flavors, showcasing seasonal ingredients that change with the tides of the year. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared, with an emphasis on freshness and quality. Whether you're craving a light appetizer or a hearty main course, there's something for everyone. The focus is on producing dishes that are not only beautiful to look at but also full of flavor, making it clear why this restaurant has earned such rave reviews.

Start your meal with one of their signature starters. The Viridi Salad is a standout, featuring a vibrant mix of seasonal vegetables, complemented by a delicate dressing that enhances the natural flavors of the produce. Another crowd favorite is the Grilled Octopus, perfectly tender and charred just right, offering a smoky depth that pairs beautifully with the accompanying salsa verde. Each bite is a balance of flavors that speak to the chef’s expertise in creating dishes that highlight the essence of Mediterranean cooking.

For the main course, Viridi doesn’t disappoint. The Seafood Paella is one of their most popular dishes, and it’s easy to see why. The rice is perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of bite, and the seafood is incredibly fresh, bursting with natural sweetness. If you’re in the mood for something meaty, the Lamb Shank is a must-try. Slow-cooked to perfection, it’s tender and flavorful, served with a rich, savory sauce that elevates the dish to new heights. Each dish tells a story of tradition and technique, reflecting the chef’s commitment to creating an exceptional dining experience.

If you have a sweet tooth, don’t miss out on the dessert menu. The Homemade Tiramisu is a light, fluffy version of the classic, with just the right amount of coffee and mascarpone flavor to leave you satisfied but not overly full. The Churros with Chocolate Sauce are also a delightful treat, offering a crisp, golden exterior with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth interior. Whether you’re finishing off a romantic dinner or sharing a dessert with friends, these sweets provide a perfect ending to your meal.

In addition to its delectable food, Viridi also offers a carefully curated wine list, showcasing wines from local vineyards as well as international options. Whether you’re enjoying a glass of red with your paella or a crisp white to complement the seafood, the wine selection enhances the overall dining experience, offering the perfect pairing for every dish.

What sets Viridi apart from other restaurants in Barcelona is its commitment to sustainability. The restaurant sources ingredients from local farmers and fishmongers, ensuring that each dish supports the community and is as fresh as possible. The focus on sustainability doesn’t stop at the menu; the restaurant also employs eco-friendly practices, from minimizing food waste to using biodegradable packaging.

Service at Viridi is exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who are eager to make your dining experience as enjoyable as possible. Whether you need a recommendation or have specific dietary preferences, the team at Viridi is always ready to assist with a smile.

The restaurant’s prime location in Les Corts makes it easily accessible, whether you're staying in the area or visiting from another part of the city. Its central position allows for a combination of tranquility and convenience, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner.

The team takes care of every detail, allowing you to enjoy your event without worry. Whether it’s a family celebration or a corporate event, Viridi offers a personalized touch that will leave your guests talking long after the event ends.

In conclusion, Viridi offers more than just a meal-it provides an experience that combines exceptional food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a commitment to sustainability. • daso_vegetarian has 4 branches in Bruc, Gracia, Sarria & Carles lll . DASO is high quality Vegetarian restaurant and one of the things that I'm impressed about is that they have different menu every single day and it's impressive because only God knows how challenging it is to keep the quality the same by making different recipes everyday, specially when it's menu del dia, which means each day there is different varieties of food to prepare. Yet another interesting fact is the menus are consulted by a nutritionist to make sure bring all the necessary things our body needs (4th picture) I tried the apple soup, beans salad and polenta with banana smoothie, they were all tasty and wonderful . The service was very fast, efficient and friendly . The full menu del dia is 10.50€ and half menu for 8€

  • Very lovely place, great price quality ratio for lunch. I enjoyed it very much. The decoration was interesting and original. It's a small place and it was quite full, but the service was professional and the food came really quickly. Overall recommended for anyone who's into vegetarian food.

  • This place is a gem that is a bit hidden, and even if the hidden part works to its disadvantage, the food and service go beyond compensation. They offer a homemade four course menu at 10.50€ which goes down to 8€ if you go for three courses. The food is fresh, natural, and intricate in its details. It doesn’t get lost in fake meats or synthetic cheeses, it sticks to natural ingredients and you can taste the difference. The service is impeccable. The man that tended to our table (probably the owner) was kind and magical in a special way. Definitely a place you should stop at if you are in the area.

  • Awesome neighbourhood vegetarian restaurant, with diverse dietary options. We had a 2 menus consisting of: sweet potato and squash soup, pasta in red pesto, green beans with potatoes, and lentils; all gorgeous and delicious. The menus came with water, bread and a small dessert, for around 20 eur. Honestly, this is how all restaurants should be imho. Good healthy food, in sensible amounts and variety, at a reasonable price, to keep you well fed!

  • Best-kept secret for delicious, affordable, well-plated vegetarian meals! This place is a bit of a hidden gem in the patio of a non-descript building facing a highway on-ramp, so it's a testament to its quality and value that it's packed with regulars and people who discover it by word-of-mouth. For around €10 we got a four-course meal that's was more sophisticated, delicious, well-plated, and nutritionally dense than meals I've paid 5x as much for! It's so nice to find a vegetarian place in Barcelona (land of "meat + carbs = meal") that actually allows vegetables, legumes, and smart, well-balanced seasonings to shine rather than emulating carnivore junk food. We had a sweet potato cardamon soup that was incredible, as well as an eggplant and apple tartine, both of which looked and tasted like they could've come from a Michelin-starred restaurant—smartly-seasoned dishes that were simultaneously unexpected and felt like "comfort food". Speaking of which, I'm not usually a dessert person, but both my partner's chocolate crêpes and my flan where INCREDIBLE. Neither were too sweet, which is always a pleasant surprise! We regret not taking photos because everything was beautiful.
